The problem, the decision,
and the number that moved

Everything we have shipped so far, in detail. Each one includes the thing that was actually hard — because that is the part worth reading, and the part that became a lesson. It is a short list, and a true one.

What we have built

And this one

The site you are reading

It is also a case study. Zero dependencies, no build step, no framework — a design system in CSS custom properties, a canvas particle field, a course platform with progress tracking, and an NLP engine written from scratch.

  • Loads in under a second on a throttled 4G connection
  • Works offline — the fonts are part of the site, not fetched from elsewhere
  • Full keyboard navigation and a visible focus ring everywhere
  • Light and dark themes with a single token swap
  • Readable top to bottom — it is meant to be studied

Lighthouse 13.5, mobile emulation with throttling, averaged over five pages (home, courses, a lesson, AI Lab, contact), measured on 3 Oct 2026 against a build served the way it is served live. Repeat runs land between 88 and 92; the lesson page is the slowest of the five at 78, because it draws a whole course alongside the lesson. Desktop scores 99–100.
